Sacred Circle of Yoga - A safe place to explore your inner landscape

Create own Own

Each private session begins with a client profile interview that considers your past health and lifestyle conditions and gives you an opportunity to reflect on what changes you would like to make to enhance your present lifestyle. Whether it be simply to learn techniques to identify and release stress or to immerse yourself in a program that will foster a deeper internal experience, you will be encouraged to view this process as originating from you, and along with skillful facilitation there will be an opportunity for you to realize your goals and intentions from the inside out. Take time to review the private sessions that are available and also those that clients have created for themselves.

Choose from a wide variety of private sessions


  • Healing Arts Session

From the moment you arrive your healing arts session is tailored to your individual needs. Your body, mind, and spirit are cared for and balanced with hands-on healing touch, sacred sounding, and intuitive awakening. The insights received help you to gain clarity and open your heart to a deeper knowing. The session takes place with you fully-clothed on a massage table or futon. Each session is unique and supportive.

  • Reiki Session

A more traditional hands-on healing touch moves through specific hand positions using symbol visualizations to connect with universal Reiki energy.

  • External Qi Healing Session
External Qi Healing is a method of assessing a client's Qi ("life energy"), treating imbalance, and enhancing health and well-being by emitting Qi either with or without physical touch.
  • Healthy Lifestyle Consultation

This individualized lifestyle coaching will help you to identify what is working for you in your life and what is not. A sampling of what has been discussed with clients and what might be included:

  • reviewing what you eat and how you eat
  • learning how to shop for and prepare good, simple food
  • establishing eating practices and meditations
  • learning practical breathing exercises and gentle stretching
  • exploring practical exercise options that suit your body type
  • reflecting on what is food for your soul (whether that be religion, meditation, poetry, art, gardening, sailing, playing a musical instrument, volunteering, community events, cultivation of friendships that support your new lifestyle)
  • Hatha Yoga Instruction


A private session in which you will be introduced to the practices of hatha yoga, learning postures, breathing techniques, and meditation, and developing or deepening an at-home practice if you are presently practicing yoga.

  • Introduction to Meditation

An overview of the various types of meditation practices (walking, sitting, mindfulness in daily life) with guidance toward directing you to supporting literature. You'll be able to design a practice to begin on a daily basis.


  • Yoga on the Ball

Enhance your yoga practice or begin practicing yoga using physiotherapy/exercise balls. The gentle support of the ball helps your body to release tension and relax into poses that tone muscles and develop core strength.

  • QiGong for Beginners
An Ancient Chinese practice of building and balancing life energy through movement, breathing, and focused awareness.

  • The Five Rhythms

A practice created by Gabrielle Roth that dances your body through five movements (flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical, and stillness) that balance and align your energies.

  • Continuum (Fluid-movement)

A practice created by Emilie Conrad that activates the fluid system of your body using sounds and open attention to awaken the life force in all aspects of your being. You develop a relationship with your own bio-intelligence and its place in the resonance of the universe.



Create your own program tailored to your immediate needs

Many clients are fulfilled and satisfied with their lives yet there is an underlying discomfort and yearning they cannot explain. Heightened emotions may be triggered when least expected. This all points to some aspect of their body, mind, and spirit as being out of balance.

One client realized she was spending too much time at her computer, and not enough time in her body, during the workday. Together we created a gentle stretching and breathing routine for her to do at her computer while she was working.

I will guide your process and suggest what techniques and tools you may choose to explore.
